2008 United Way awards presented

The 2008-2009 UCPS United Way campaign raised $160,749.39. Forest Hills High School Cluster stood out this year by winning all three of the following categories: Highest Percentage of Participation; Greatest Improvement In Percentage of Participation; and Highest Average Per Capita Contributor. Principals from each of the schools in the FHHS Cluster pose with the three trophies during a recent presentation. They are, from left, Rock Rest Elementary principal Wendy Gravely, Wingate Elementary principal Kristy Thomas; Marshville Elementary principal Tina Miller; Union Elementary principal Cindy Croffut; Forest Hills High School principal Wanda Little; and East Union principal Kevin Plue.
