The Fred Ingold Music Festival

Former Sardis student Josh C. rocks on his clarinet!

There was lots of music at the Fred Ingold Festival!  We learned the names of some instruments like the flute, the french horn, the tuba, and the trombone.  Some of us liked the Star Wars theme song!  A lot of people liked Spongebob Squarepants too.  And a lot of people liked when the band played the Pirate football songs!

They showed us the instruments by talking about them and playing a little bit on them.  One person said the name and and family and the other one played.  The flute played the Mario theme song!  They all played their instruments loud!  Some of them were high and some of them were low.

At the end, we sang "America".  It was loud.  We were happy to see Porter Ridge since it was huge and we never knew a school could be that big!  Everyone was cheering and said thank you!
