Stallings Elementary Students Honored

Nicole Conti receives the 4th Grade Academic Achievement Award from principal, Mr. Bill Breckenridge.

On Wednesday, May 11, 2011, students in the Porter Ridge Cluster gathered together and were honored with achievement awards. Eleven students from Stallings Elementary School received awards that night. Hannah Stoltz, a fifth grader in Mrs. Chelsea Helms’ class, won the Superintendent’s Award. The Principal’s Award went to Jake Horstkamp in Mr. Bagshaw’s 5th grade. Hunter King in Mr. P.J. Theiler’s 5th grade was awarded the Most Improved Award.

There were six Academic Achievement Awards given to third through fifth grade students. In third grade, Gavin Franklyn from Mrs. Liz Strauch’s class as well as Susanna Robinson in Mrs. Maggie Harris’ class received the honor of Academic Achievement. Nicole Conti in Mrs. Lisa Rushing‘s 4th grade class and Piper Hill in Mrs. Jane Lucas’ class also received that award.

In fifth grade the Academic Achievement Award winners were Emma Campagna in Mrs. Alicia Swann’s class and Jenna Oldja in Mrs. Chelsea Helms’ class. Last, but not least, Stallings had two students to receive the “Yes I Can” Award. Morgan Carter a fifth grader in Mr. Bagshaw’s class and Brent Davis, also a fifth grader in Mr. P.J. Theiler’s class.
