Field Day, 2011

BHESA’s 2011 Field Day was held on June 8. This year’s event had a global theme. Individual classrooms adopted a country for the day. Prior to Field Day, students researched their adopted country, and made flags, hats, or posters representing that country.

The day began with the entire student body gathering around the front circle of school. Our BHESA Chorus sang “The Star Spangled Banner,” followed by classes parading around the front circle waving flags representing their countries.

Events included Italian Pasta Pulls, Autobahn relays, Camel water holes, Kangaroo jump rope contests, and Teacher Minute to Win It competitions.

Many thanks to Mrs. Leon & all the volunteers for making today such a memorable day for our students.

We hope you enjoy the following video which highlights the day.
