Welcome Letter from Our New Assistant Principal

Becky Knight is glad to be on board with Shiloh Elementary.

Dear Shiloh Parents Students and Families,

I am writing this letter to share how excited I am to be joining the Shiloh Community as your new Assistant Principal. You should be proud of the success of Shiloh and the recent recognition as a 2011 Honor School of Excellence. I am looking forward to being a part of Shiloh’s long history of success and accomplishment.

Although I am new to the Shiloh faculty and staff, I am not new to the Shiloh community. As a Union County native, I attended Shiloh as an elementary student. Upon graduating from Elon University as a North Carolina Teaching Fellow, I returned to Union County to teach at Indian Trail Elementary. After teaching for seven years, I joined the Union County Curriculum Staff and completed my Administrative Internship at Rocky River Elementary. I am excited to bring my past years of experience to partner with each of you as we continue to serve the students of Shiloh Elementary.

I feel honored and privileged to join the Shiloh community. I believe teamwork and open communication are very important and know that together we will continue to ensure a positive and productive learning environment for our students. I am excited to help support the students, parents, teachers and community of Shiloh Elementary, and I look forward to meeting and working with each of you in the coming weeks.
