Quarterback Lee McNeill Nominated for Big 22
Porter Ridgeâ€™s quarterback, Lee McNeill, has been nominated to be a contestant for player of the year on WSOC-TV 's Big 22. Voting begins at 3:00 pm on Friday, September 9th for the BIG 22 candidates. Voting continues until Thursday, October 6th @ 11:59 pm. Five finalists will be named by Monday, October 10th. Public voting counts for 70% of the points in a Big 22 contestant's final score.
Voters can send in votes by writing the BIG 22 contestant's name on a 3x5 card or piece of paper and sending it to Elaine Farias At WSOC-TV 1901 North Tryon Street , Charlotte, North Carolina, 28206.
Online voters can vote up to 9 times a day from each valid email address. You may vote for Lee McNeill by going to the contest website at http://www.wsoctv.com/contests/index.html and following the posted instructions.
If Lee should win, he would receive a trophy and on-air television recognition on WSOC-TV. Our high school would receive a $ 5,000.00 donation for the school's scholarship fund and a Big 22 commemorative plaque.
Our school will be getting more television coverage of our games because Lee is a contestant. Let's get behind him with our online voting and win more recognition for our school as well as a $5,000.00 donation for our scholarship fund.
