Eating the Moon
Did you know that Oreo cookies aren't only delicious, they can also help you learn about the phases of the moon? Mr. Hazel's class discovered that recently during a science lesson about objects in the sky. During the month of September, students are looking at the moon every night and keeping a journal about what they see. By now, they are starting to see a pattern. In class, after they drew the different phases of the moon and constructed them using their Oreo cookies, they were rewarded by eating their results!
