Student Council Sponsors Club Walk

Seniors Joey Costa and Caroline Monkiewicz, freshman Amanda Muntz, and junior Alexis Crique read about the French Club during the CHS Club Walk.

The CHS Student Council sponsored a Club Walk during lunch periods September 15, 2011. Representatives from various clubs prepared colorful trifold displays to advertise and promote their club activities and membership information and displayed them along the Grand Hall. Students were invited to browse, read about, and even sign up for the clubs during their lunches. The Film Club, Mural Club, HOSA, French Club, FCCLA, Anime, and FFA were just a few of the many clubs on display.

Mrs. Danielle Martin, Student Council Adviser, said, "The Club Walk was a great opportunity for the students to see the different clubs that are out there. Several have already asked, 'How do I sign up?' This was a unique opportunity for students to be exposed to every club. I think it will help them get more involved!"

In addition to club information, students were also invited to a table to make nominations for the upcoming Homecoming Court. Homecoming will be held October 8, 2011.
