The Creation of Cavalier Castle
The CHS Media Center is undergoing a transformation into "Cavalier Castle" thanks to parent artists Lori Hofmeister and Susan Johnson. They are painting the Media Center to look like a medieval castle complete with a Cavalier standing guard at the entrance. The entrance is all stonework and soon the interior walls above the bookshelves will have turrets with window boxes and the sky visible beyond. Students were invited to suggest names for the Cavalier and voting will take place soon. Special thanks to our artists as well as to parent Carol McKee who arranged for the delivery of plants, trees, and suits of armor to decorate our castle, as well as the donation of paint and supplies from Lowe's. Please stop by and take a look as we transform!
