3rd Six Weeks Assembly and Celebration
Each six weeks the school holds a school wide assembly to recognize those students who have 100% homework participation, made the A or AB honor roll and those who worked to be in the BUG (bringing up grades) club. Students are called up in front of the school and given a pin that they can collect on their school lanyard. Students love displaying their collection of pins and being able to show everyone how hard they have worked each six weeks. Also each six weeks a celebration is held for those students who have met their signature goals. The PBIS team does a great job coming up with creative ideas for these celebrations. This time we had a dance celebration!!! Students could participate in dances such as the Hokey Pokey, YMCA, Chicken Dance, Ice Cream and Cake and more!!! For those students who chose not to dance there were art materials and board games in the cafeteria or students could just hang out on the bleachers and talk to their friends. We are very proud of all of the students who were able to participate in this activity and hope to have even more participation next six weeks!
