Hearts for Haiti

Benton Heights Elementary School's Jagged Pearls Club has a lot of love for Haiti. In February the 4th grade girls' club made heart earrings and sold them to raise money for Haiti victims. "We sold 500 pairs of earrings and raised $2,500. The response was remarkable! The girls really learned a big lesson about giving without expecting anything in return," Jagged Pearls advisor Renee Rogers said. All of the money went to the local American Red Cross.
