Prospect Surpasses Jump Rope for Heart Goal

Prospect students jumping for the joy of helping raise to money for Jump Rope for Heart.

During the week of February 15th,  Prospect Physical Education teacher Karen Rosenthal led the students in raising money for Jump Rope for Heart. The goal was set at $1500.00 but the hard work of the Prospect community resulted in raising $1700.00. Mrs. Rosenthal was thrilled and thanks everyone for their support of the American Heart Association.

The Jump Rope for Heart events took place in the school gym during PE classes during the week of February 15th. There were many "jumping" stations for students to participate in. Among them were hurdles, long jump, jumping bands, hoppity hops and of course, jump ropes. All of Prospect's students participated in these  jumping events. The students had a great time getting exercise while earning money for a this important cause!
