Join FHHS in Celebrating 50 Years

Forest Hills High School is 50 years old and wants the community to help celebrate this milestone! On Saturday, May 15, 2010, but now postponed until the fall, the school will hold an all-out community celebration at Jacket Stadium.

Alumni, family, friends, former employees, community members are all invited to participate in this very special, fun-filled day. For 50 years, this school and community have been part of one another. This day is about thanking the community, looking back, and looking to the future.

Clubs and organizations will operate booths providing games, activities, and giveaways as well as selling food and drinks. Scheduled entertainment includes local bands, dance groups, and individuals who will perform throughout the day. If you are interested in performing or know someone who should be asked, please contact Vicki Hogan at FHHS at (704) 233-4001 or vicki.hogan@ucps.k12.nc.us.

Alumni photos will be taken at the visitors' bleachers.  Drawings for door prizes will be held often through the entire event, so guests are asked to enter their names in the boxes as they enter the stadium.

For more information, contact event coordinator Alicia Swackhamer at (704) 233-4001.
