PRHS Soccer Helps Hemby Bridge Elementary to Get Fit

As of late, there has been a tremendous push to get our children to get up, get moving, and become more engaged in their daily lives. Porter Ridge soccer program and Hemby Bridge Elementary have certainly found a new way of keeping their students active and involved with their community at the same time. PR soccer Coach Ron Ladimir thought it was time for his teams to give back to their community. So this past fall he brought his boys varsity soccer team over to Hemby Bridge to hold a soccer clinic for the entire elementary school. And on April 16th it was the PR girls varsity soccer team's turn to hold a similar clinic.

The clinics consisted of passing and shooting drills, relay races, and the big finale scrimmage...PR Pirates vs. HB Bulldogs! It was a great time filled with plenty of cheers and laughter. The Porter Ridge soccer program looks forward to continuing on this tradition with Hemby Bridge for years to come.
