East Union’s Students Soar to the Challenge

In November, each homeroom at EUMS was challenged to fill a shoebox for a boy and girl in the 14 and up age bracket for Samaritan’s Purse. Each box was filled with hard candy and gum, hygiene items, like toothpaste and a toothbrush and school supplies, as well as toys. Samaritan’s Purse sends the boxes to third world countries where the children get little or no food and clothing, much less a gift. The older age group usually receives the least amount of filled boxes of any age group. East Union students rose to the challenge and filled 68 boxes.
