Global Week 2011
Students, staff and parents enjoyed a week of special events focusing on global awareness. There were presentations about Denmark & Canada on Monday, Jordan & China on Tuesday, Bulgaria & Greece on Wednesday and Peru & Scandinavia on Thursday.
Friday events included performances by our VIF teacher Annette Hollis, representing New Zealand, Indian dance by Vasa children, Taekwando by Sangrock, fashion show from JARRS, bag pipes, and salsa dancing by Ms Perkins club.
As a special treat for the students, the cafeteria served lunches with an ethnic flare during the week. There were artifacts collected by staff members from their travels around the world on display in the halls as well. It was truly a great event. If you missed it this year, plan to attend next year.
