"Pledge and Run" for the Kensington Boosterthon!
Many children love the Boosterthon Fun Run. It's not only fun for the children, it's also good exercise.
"It was fun, because they make me happy!" says first grader Chelsea, "I'm looking forward to it so much that I feel like every recess is the Boosterthon!"
The Boosterthon program is ten years old. They have been at Kensington four out of those ten years. There are over 150 Boosterthon people all over the United States.
Two years ago, Kensington made $17,000. Last year, Kensington's profit was $25,000. That's a BIG difference! This year our goal is over $25,000.
I asked fifth grader Isabella if she liked the Boosterthon. She nodded and said "Because it helps raise money for the school".
The Boosterthon theme is "EPIC ADVENTURE!". EPIC menas: Encourage, Play, Invite, Celebrate.
Kensington's profit has increased from $17,000 to $25,000 over the past two years, so let's hope we increase from $25,000 to about $35,000!
