Drumline Plays for Corporate Celebration

On Wednesday, February 8, the Forest Hills Drumline performed at a pep rally at the Belk's Corporate Headquarters in Charlotte to celebrate the company's fourth quarter earnings for last year. The person in charge of putting the event together specifically wanted the Forest Hills drumline because the Jacket Regiment had played for the Grand Reopening of the Belk Store in the Monroe Mall back in the fall, and that performance had been a great success.

The Jacket Regiment Drumline, consisting of Laquan Sanders, Malcolm Lotharp, Carson Traywick, Kendra Glanville, Bradley Beane, Jackie Baucom and Tiffany Wilson, performed for the employees of the corporate office and were joined in performance by Sir Purr of the Carolina Panthers. The group received numerous compliments from members of the crowd, and after the pep rally ended they met and played around with Sir Purr. The event coordinator thanked the drumline members and commented that Forest Hills would be her go-to band for future events. Congratulations to our Drumline for a job well done!
