Rocky River Celebrates Dr. Seuss!

Fourth grade students show off their Dr. Seuss attire and Wacky Tacky dress on March 2, 2012

On Friday, March 2, 2012, the students and staff celebrated Dr. Seuss' birthday in a number of ways. The entire school was invited to dress as their favorite character from one of his books. Many classes celebrated with food, either creating a delightful dessert reflecting a character, or eating green eggs and ham. It was offered as an entree choice in the cafeteria.

Teachers also had a chance to read their favorite Dr. Seuss book. These readings were videotaped and then broadcast on a continuous loop for classrooms to tune in when it was convenient for them. It was a very special day!
