P.E. Field Day is Fabulous!
"Way to go!"
"Good for you!"
These and other encouraging cries were heard throughout the day during this year's P.E. Field Day . Sportsmanlike conduct and having fun were the main objectives of the day.
This year's fun filled day was held on Wednesday, April 4 for all classes. Kindergarten through second grades participated in the early morning hours and third through fiftth graders got in on the action later in the day. The cafeteria served bag lunches and many classes enjoyed an outdoor picnic.
Some of the popular events had students tossing wet sponges to each other and spritzing friends with spray water bottles. Kona Ice was also a hit, as many students opted to purchase a delicious snow cone.
A lot of planning and preparation goes into an event like Field Day. Thank you, Coach P. for your hard work! We also want to thank all of the volunteers who ran the stations and our PTO for providing free icey pops for our faculty!
