Voyagers Sponsor Freerice Drive

Throughout the month of March, the Voyagers Club, a group that focuses on learning about different cultures throughout the world, sponsored a school-wide effort to raise awareness of the hunger epidemic facing mankind.

To help build understanding of this issue and to help combat it, students from PRHS participated in Freerice online games. These games ask questions about a variety of topics including vocabulary , math, art, history, and world languages. For each correct answer, the United Nations World Food Programme donates ten grains of rice to people who suffer from hunger globally.

PRHS earned 527,640 grains of rice to help feed those less fortunate than us. Just because the month is over does not mean the games have ended. Continue playing and feeding the hungry at http://freerice.com.
