IIAC Campaign Off and Running!!!
Our Invest in a Child (IIAC) Campaign is off and running! It started October 5th with a Family Fun Night and will conclude on November 9th. The Family Fun Night was a huge success!!! Families and teachers showed up for a night of free, family fun! The theme of this Family Fun Night was an All-Star theme!!! Each family was asked to wear their favorite team's shirt or jersy. We saw everything from the Panthers to Ohio State in the house. Family and friends stopped at each of the sports "stations" to try their hand at a family sport. These included: a corn hole, soccer goal kicks, basketball shoot outs, ball tosses, hockey courses, and sack races. Students were offered cotton candy, popcorn, chips and water for a much needed snack break. Door prizes included Disney on Ice tickets, which were done in a raffle. A great night was had by all evidenced by the high-fives and big smiles on our All-Star students' faces!!!
The IIAC campaign is one of our largest fundraisers for the school. One of the major hopes is that we can obtain much needed shading for our playground areas. Many more raffles are in store, and there is, of course, the infamous "taping" the principal to the wall!!! Fun to be had by all! Remember the campaign ends November 9th.
