Mrs. Annette Hollis' students wearing crazy hats on Hat Day!

Weddington Elementary School recognized Drug Prevention Week October 22 - 26, 2012, by asking students to wear different things to bring awareness to the special week. Monday was Backwards Shirt Day in recognition of "Turn Your Back On Drugs!" Tuesday was Hat Day to "Put A Cap on Drugs!" Wednesday was Crazy Sock Day because "We're Crazy About Being Drug Free!" Thursday was Mix-n-Match Day so that students "Don't Get Mixed Up With Drugs!" Friday was Red Day. Students were asked to wear red, the Drug-Free National Color.
