Father Daughter Dance
The Father/Daughter Dance held on Friday night was a phenomenal SVES event! Girls dressed in sparkling dresses, kissed with hints of makeup, and adorned with fresh cut corsages were simply a lovely sight for the eyes to behold. Proud fathers beamed as they escorted their little girls into the foyer, purchased flowers, and posed for a picture. The best part of the night was watching the fathers lead their daughters to the dance floor and move more oft than not rhythmically to the beat of fast and slow paced songs.
Towards the end, I was overjoyed as numerous fathers highly praised and requested the event to become an annual SVES activity. After witnessing and participating in the experience, I can truly say that we have established a new tradition at Sun Valley.
Words cannot express the appreciation I have for our PTO. It was their ingenious idea coupled with methodical planning that produced a well organized function. As a result, this night will forever be embedded in the minds of attending fathers and daughters.
