Blaze and a student having fun at MASH 3

Our third MASH (“Movies at Shiloh”) night held on Friday, November 9th was lots of fun for more than 200 Shiloh students and families. Shiloh families came out to enjoy the movie, The Tale of Despereaux, and enjoy pizza and popcorn. A special treat for Shiloh students occurred when Blaze, Shiloh’s school mascot, made an appearance. Shiloh has a longstanding tradition of excellence that will continue to evolve and strengthen with activities such as MASH. MASH is a great opportunity for all stakeholders to build school and community relationships outside the regular school environment.
Mr. Spencer addressed the crowd before the movie to announce Shiloh’s new initiative to increase communication between the school and home. Shiloh created a twitter account. It is not necessary for anybody to create or have a twitter account to follow us. If you would like more information on how to follow Shiloh on twitter please visit the school website.
We also would like to thank our teachers and custodians who helped set-up, sell goodies, and clean-up afterwards. Without these dedicated members, MASH would not be possible. Thanks to all the parents who accompanied their children to the movies and we look forward to seeing you again in the near future.
