Cupcake Election

The Kindergarten students have been learning voting means to make a choice and people can cast a “secret ballot” to vote for the littlest of things to the grandest of things.
So, on Monday, November 5th, the day before Election day, for adults, the 4 Kindergarten classes came out to the “poll” to vote for their favorite cupcake and frosting flavor, complete with the option of sprinkles or no sprinkles.
As pictured, student made campaign signs hung outside the “voting site” as students from Mrs. Scott’s class anxiously waited in line to walk inside the “voting booth” to cast their vote.
The votes were counted and results were in, and the winner was… chocolate cupcakes with vanilla frosting and sprinkles.
