Fourth Graders learn about Brazil
Ms. Groome’s 4th grade students had a guest speaker from Brazil visit the classroom to become more aware of Brazil’s culture, area and lifestyle. Several artifacts from Brazil were brought in including clothing, jewelry, tools, photographs and much more. The students specifically talked about the tribes of the rain forest and animals in the rain forest. They looked at artifacts, clothing, and tools from the Indigenous peoples of the Amazon. The students also were able to compare the schools of Brazil to their own school. The students look forward to her visiting the classroom throughout the year to broaden their knowledge on Brazil!
