Fourth grade students learn about Iran!

On December 12, the fourth graders at Kensington had a special visitor. This visitor was Ms. Behi, who was born in Persia, which is now known as Iran. She told the fourth graders all about the culture and life in Iran. She also read a well known story called The Boy Who Cried Wolf in her own language! The students got to see letters and numbers in her language, and they all got to try pomegranate, a famous fruit in Iran. The students asked many questions. The fourth grade was very fortunate she could come teach us this year!
