Shiloh welcomes Mrs. Trush!
Tammy Trush is new to Shiloh this January. She is very excited to be a part of the First Grade team. She and her husband, Dave, have been married for eighteen years and they have three children ages 10, 14, and 16. They have lived in Union County for thirteen years. She is a 1992 graduate of the University of Maryland where she received a degree in Elementary Education. She went on to teach in Maryland for four years until their first child was born. Later, she homeschooled her three children for a total of six years (Kindergarten – 8th grade). Recently, she worked at Union Academy as a teacher’s assistant for Kindergarten. Playing guitar is one of her hobbies and she enjoys sharing this favorite pastime with her students, using it as a learning tool. Going to the beach with her family and singing in her church choir are a few other things that make her smile. She also enjoys crocheting monkey, owl, and tiger hats. It looks like she needs to learn how to make a bulldog hat now.
