FHHS FFA Tool ID Team Takes Awards

Here at Forest Hills High School, we expect success, and on June 19, a group of FFA students definitely proved it. They represented FHHS in the State FFA Agricultural Tool Identification Contest in Raleigh NC at the 85th North Carolina State FFA Convention, and success is what they delivered.

In this competition students must identify 40 tools from a list of 187 hand tools and correctly match 20 definitions/uses to the appropriate tool name. There were approximately 40 teams that competed in this competition, and Forest Hills took home 3rd place overall. This is the best that the school has ever placed in the history of this contest. The team members were Trey Autry, Landon Allen, Colton Farmer, and Casey Yandle. A special congratulations goes to Trey Autry for receiving the highest overall score in the whole competition with a perfect score. Congratulations Guys!
