Orange Crush Spirit goes big, white!
Good Evening, Mavericks! This is Matt Lasher, Assistant Principal with your weekly announcements.
What an amazing show of Orange Crush “White-Out” Spirit and Maverick Sportsmanship at our hard-fought football game this past Friday night against Ardrey Kell! Your support from the opening kickoff to the final whistle was tremendous. Please continue to check our website for upcoming sporting events and come out to support all of our Wachovia Cup winning athletic programs.
This past week seniors received transcripts and senior ad information on Friday. Please check with your senior about these two important items.
PTSO open house will be Monday September 9, beginning at 6:30. This will be an opportunity for parents to walk their students schedule, meet their teachers, and learn about each teacher’s curriculum and expectations. Please bring your student’s schedule.
This week Chromebooks will continue to be distributed to sophomores and freshman. Thank you to Ms. Heather Karpinski and the media center staff for making this process smooth and efficient. Please be aware that no forms or money will be accepted for Chromebooks this week. We will resume taking forms and money the following week.
Underclassman picture day will be this Thursday, September 12. Flyers will be sent home this Monday through 1st block class.
The mission possible 2 fundraiser is still ongoing and vital to the success of our student life as well as various other programs this school year. It can be accessed through the schools webpage by clicking on the scrolling announcements or the parents and community link.
