East Union Middle School students partnered with a Marshville United Methodist Church to feed hungry families.

The Sept. 14, 2013 project, sponsored by the organizations “Servants With a Heart and Kids Against Hunger,” took place in the school gym.

Members of the community, along with students from East Union and Forest Hills, packed bags of food with the goal of providing 50,000 meals to those in need.

Students in East Union's Beta club took part in this project to earn service hours, which is a requirement of Beta club members each month.
