BON JOUR!

Mrs. Griffin’s and Mrs. Helms’ classes have been learning about France. We found France on a map and talked about ways to get there from where we live. We also learned about a very old cathedral, or church, called Notre Dame, the Eiffel Tower, and a museum called The Louvre.

Mrs. Griffin’s class taught us how to make French bread. It was delicious!

Mrs. Helms’ class taught us that hopscotch is a game that originated in France and showed us how to play.

We learned how to say “hello,” “how’s it going?” and “goodbye” in French - bon jour, ca-va, au revoir.

We will continue to visit France through video and activities.
