Students participate in Design Challenge
Ms. Leggett’s Apparel Development I class just completed their first Design Project Challenge. Students were given two rolls of toilet paper, 1 role of scotch tape and a 24” piece of yarn. The challenge was to create a dress using only the provided materials. Students were then asked to analyze the design based on the Elements and Principles of Design.
A team of faculty members were treated to a mini fashion show and voted on the most creative and professional design. The first place winners were Olivia Hodges and Daryl DeCesare; second place went to Avery and Brooke Stahlman-Dwyer; and third place winners were Emily Goldstein and Emily Lineberger.
