Getting Organized in Mrs. Bartolucci's Class
Mrs. Bartolucci's students are off to the right start in writing. Students are learning how to create graphic organizers before beginning the writing process. Graphic organizers are a way visually for students to see how a story flows from beginning, middle to end. When the graphic organizers are complete, students can visually see where to begin writing their stories.
As students begin the writing process, they are creating a topic sentence. They are using their transition words to sequence events as well as adding details to make their stories more interesting. Students are then ending their stories with a conclusion sentence. Editing and revising is also a very important process that students are learning before writing their final drafts.
Mrs. Bartolucci is proud of all of her students and the progress they have made. Way to go Mrs. Bartolucci's students!
