Tri-M Inducts New Members
Cuthbertson High School’s chapter of the Tri-M International Music Honor Society welcomed 24 new members during an induction ceremony held on October 23. Membership in Tri-M is open to students involved in Band, Choir and/or Piano who have demonstrated excellence through their academic, musical, service and leadership activities. In order to be considered for Tri-M membership, students must achieve A’s in all music classes combined with a B-average in all other classes.
Cuthbertson’s chapter of Tri-M meets monthly with their sponsors, Ms. Janet Hall and Mr. Todd Ebert. Ms. Hall, reflecting on her own experience in Tri-M, noted, “Tri-M Honor Society students exemplify scholarship, character, leadership and service. I will always remember being inducted into Tri-M when I was in high school and I am so proud of our CHS students that have achieved this important honor!”
