Congratulations! Mrs. Halkidis RYRES Instructional Assistant 2013 - 2014

This year's Instructional Assistant of the Year is Stacy Halkidis. In her second year as an Instructional Assistant, Mrs. Halkidis continues to do a phenomenal job, both in working with the students as well as the staff at Rocky River. The teachers that she works with have nothing but positive praise for her, "Stacy is a wonderful assistant! She is extremely helpful in every way! All the kids love when she walks through the door with a smile always on her face. I am very thankful to have someone so supportive to work with."


Always helpful and ready to jump in and help wherever and whenever she is needed, Mrs. Halkidis has been a true asset to us at Rocky River Elementary. Congratulations to our wonderful Instructional Assistant of the Year, Stacy Halkidis!


Mrs. Halkidis is from Ontario, Canada. She attended two universities while in Ontario Sir Wilfrid Laurier University where she earned her B.A. and the University of Windsor where she earned a Bachelor of Education. “I love working with the students here at RYRES and am so happy to be part of this school.” My husband Bob and I have 3 teenagers. I like to hike and walk my dogs, a German Shepherd and a Golden Retriever. I love to read, exercise, and play the piano.
