Red Ribbon Week!
Red Ribbon Week was recognized during the week of October 28-November 1, 2013. The theme was “A Healthy Me is Drug Free”. Students and staff enjoyed doing the following themes and activities:
*Take a pledge against drugs and alcohol
*Put a cap on drugs and alcohol by wearing hats to school
*Team up against drugs and alcohol by wearing spirit wear or favorite team shirts to school
*Sock it to drugs by wearing crazy socks
*Can it to drugs by bringing in canned goods
The donated canned goods will go to Kiwanis for the Christmas Bureau.
Several classrooms also participated in a Red Ribbon Door Decorating Contest. The classroom winners for the contest were:
Kindergarten- Mrs. McNamara
1st grade- Ms. Hinson-Mullis
2nd grade-Mrs. Hester
3rd grade- Ms. Hutchens
