Food Drive Was a Huge Success!

Some of the numerous can good items brought in by Marvin Elementary Students.
The student council organized a food drive that ran from 11/18-11/22.  It was a huge success!
 
The students of Marvin Elementary collected over 1000 food items!  The food was picked up on Monday by members of the Kiwanis Club.  These gentleman are greatly involved in the Union County Schools.  They helped to load all the food in boxes and load their three trucks.
 
The food was delivered to the Union County Christmas Bureau and will be distributed to local families in need.  The Christmas Bureau is a wonderful organization who is always in need of help during the holiday season.
