Wolfe School visited the Union County Animal Shelter
On Wednesday, December 4, students from Wolfe School visited the Union County Animal Shelter. The students were able to tour the facility and visit the many homeless cats, dogs, kittens, and puppies. Students were even able to hold and pet the adorable animals. It was so exciting to watch the faces of students light up as they interacted with the animals.
As a part of this community experience, students from Mrs. Linda Bapst and Mrs. Ellen LeRoy’s class collected items to donate to the shelter. They were able to collect several boxes full of food, treats, toys, and blankets. The employees at the shelter were very grateful for everything that was given to these animals and very impressed with the way the students interacted with the animals. In turn, the staff of Wolfe School is sincerely grateful for the kindness and love that was shown to our students during this community experience.
