MRMS extends a warm welcome to Mr. Jason Iadarola
Marvin Ridge Middle School would like to extend a warm welcome to Mr. Jason (Jay) Iadarola. Beginning on December 20, Mr. Iadarola will serve Marvin Ridge Middle School as an assistant principal charged with overseeing seventh grade and various other leadership functions. Mr. Iadarola assumes the position previously held by Ms. Hilary Petta, who is retiring.
Mr. Iadarola has resided in the Charlotte area for almost eleven years. He came to the area after graduating from Central Connecticut State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in History. His background in the field of education includes teaching third and fourth grade for ten years in Cabarrus County Schools and Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools. In his second year of teaching, he received the Who’s Who in Teaching Award. Most recently, Mr. Iadarola served as the dean of students at Steele Creek Elementary in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools. In May of 2013, he graduated from Gardner-Webb University with his Master of Arts degree in Executive Leadership.
In his spare time, he has coached numerous baseball teams, including a Nation’s Baseball team which was ranked as a top ten team in the nation. Mr. Iadarola and his wife, Nikki Iadarola, have ten month old twins, Mason and Mia.
