CHS Prepares for Fall Semester Exams

Alexa Keeler, Maddie Kiger, and Sally MacDonald, all juniors, prepare for upcoming exams.

First semester exams begin on Monday, January 13, and end on Thursday, January 16. Scores on these exams count 25% of the final semester grade. Exams begin promptly at 8:00 AM. Students will not be allowed to enter an exam once it has already started. Exams end at approximately 12:30 PM. There will be no early dismissal. All students taking a course for credit are required to attend the review session and take the exam during testing days. Normal school hours apply, but the schedule and lunch times have been adjusted to accommodate testing.

Friday, January 17, is a regular school day. It is also an important day for any student who missed an exam earlier in the week due to illness to make up that exam. Students who do not attend school this day will be counted absent. Cuthbertson High School will use this day as a make-up day for final exams. Students who attend school but who are not making up a final exam will participate in SAT/ACT test preparation, globalization, and community-building activities throughout the day.
