Celebrating 100 Days of School
In Kindergarten, Miss Richert’s class celebrated the 100th day of school. As this was a monumental day, the class commemorated it by designing 100th day necklaces.
They used fruit loops, yarn, and 10 counters to make their necklaces not only stylish but also aligned with the common core. For each 10 fruit loops (which they one-to-one counted) they put a 10 counter until they had counted by tens to 100.
The classroom was full of smiles and learning that the students will carry with them through the remaining 80 days.
