Pint Size Hero, Blood Drive is on Tuesday, April 29, 2014
Did you know that your blood donation can be used to help up to three patients? Every two seconds, someone needs blood. Now you and your Stallings student have the opportunity to become HEROES too! During the last three weeks the United States has experienced several winter storms. Over 300 blood drives were canceled due to the weather conditions which results in a loss of over 9,000 pints of blood the American Red Cross had been expecting. The pints we donate will first be used to meet the needs of Union County hospitals but after their quotas are met our donated blood will be shared with other states in need. Please, know how very important your donation is to the health and welfare of both our Union County citizens but those in our Nation as well.
Your child will receive an American Red Cross Drawstring Backpack at the time of your donation.
Our Stallings, Pint Size Hero, Blood Drive is scheduled for Tuesday, April 29, 2014, from 11:00 AM-4:00 PM. To schedule an appointment, go to http://www.signupgenius.com/go/9040845ACA822A57-2014
Our goal this year is 50 pints. We were able to collect 48 pints last year. I think we can do even better this year. Remember to bring your Photo ID on the day of the drive and thank you for your commitment to help save lives. If you are unable to keep your scheduled appointment, please let Kimberly Combs know as soon as possible so we can fill that time slot.
