Tea Served at Sandy Ridge
On Friday 7th of February. Seven fourth graders and one 5th grader from Mrs Macniven`s class last year, enjoyed a formal High Tea. The students were the lucky winners of the silent auction prize at inter Fest. They were joined by the fourth grade teachers for this popular tradition in Scotland and the UK.
There were many yummy treats including fresh made scones baked by the ladies in the cafeteria, Scottish shortbread, pound cake, sandwiches, fruit kebobs and chips and dips. Hot tea was on offer, another long standing daily tradition in Scotland and the UK and also the Scottish soda Irn Bru.
The students then watched clips of the movie Brave, a Scottish themed animation by Pixar, and much fun was had by all.
