AIG Students Get Out of the Classroom and On the Ice

The field trip concluded with lunch at Takara Japanese Steakhouse where students experienced a Hibachi meal. The hibachi dining room featured performing chefs, who prepared, entertained, and cooked meals right in front of the student and parent group. 

Prior to the field trip, AIGers read articles published in Time, The Charlotte Observer, Time for Kids, and other periodicals to follow the Winter Olympics. Students read stories of how legends of the ice faced challenges and rose above them. They learned lessons of perseverance and coping under pressure.
