Learning about our Mandarin Program!

On March 12th,  Kensington Elementary hosted the annual informational meeting for the Mandarin Language Immersion program offered at both Kensington and Marvin Elementary. The language immersion program is an exciting option for parents who want their children to have the advantages of a rigorous academic program while also learning a second language. Parents interested in the program for their rising kindergartner were invited to come. Parents of children already enrolled in the program attended a separate session to learn more about the upcoming year. Representatives from the VIF and Splash Programs as well as the immersion program teachers were present to answer questions and/or concerns. Mrs. Cole, Marvin’s Principal, and Dr. Clarke, Kensington’s Principal, were both thrilled with the opportunity to share more about the program offered at their schools.
