Odyssey of the Mind competition: A Student's Perspective

We won! We are going to the state competition of Odyssey of the Mind...but let me tell you how it happened! I was nervous and felt as if this was the hardest thing on earth, but I knew I would not quite the team or leave it hanging...I could do this! My team members were a great help (and or course, the coach, Mrs. Taylor). Our topic was fun, and thanks to Dr. Baron and Mrs. Morris, all went well. As the competition drew nearl, I thought of the scores of our performance and the fun we would have at Wingate University. We were in the final countdown of the competition, and then something went wrong. One student got sick! We had to change the person who played her role of Marie Antoinette. We then practiced, practiced, and practiced. The next day she was better, and she was able to come! We did the competition, and to our amazement, we got second place! OM rocks. It really does.
