Second Grade Explores Downtown Monroe
Second grade went on their second annual walking field trip in downtown Monroe. On this field trip, they visited the Courthouse, Fire Department and Public Library.
Students were given a real life perspective of what public service jobs entail. Some of the highlights included meeting a sheriff and judge, watching the firemen respond to an emergency call, and they learned about all the wonderful resources the library offers. They would like to especially thank all of the public service workers who keep us safe and make learning fun!
