FVES Spirit Rock Has Arrived!

FVES Spirit Rock!

Exciting news - our Fairview Spirit Rock has arrived! You may have noticed that it has been painted for our Boosterthon fundraiser. Starting April 21, it will be available for all Fairview families to show their school spirit. If you would like to celebrate your child’s birthday or give a positive shout out, you may now reserve a spot through our sign up genius link.

This will be available through the Fairview Elementary website under the PTO heading. The guidelines and helpful tips are below:

  •  The Spirit Rock will be reserved through Sign Up Genius ONLY. Please see the link on the PTO webpage.  Signups for the remainder of the school year are now available.
  • The reservation is for one school day starting at 5:00 p.m. on the night prior to the sign up date. So if you sign up for April 24, then you may decorate the rock starting at 5:00 pm on April 23.
  • If the rock is painted over by someone, it is not the PTO or school's responsibility. Fairview Elementary PTO reserves the right to remove any content, message or language from the Spirit Rock that is deemed inappropriate.
  • The family painting the rock assumes liability for any individual or member of the group who may be injured, or who may incur clothing or other personal property damage.
  • Families must furnish their own labor, paint, and supplies. Only the rock may be painted.
  • The best paint to use is spray paint. Don't worry about getting expensive paint, the cheap stuff works great! Remember, latex paint or paint that is rolled on will take longer to dry. Do not ever paint on any surface but the rock.
  • In order to allow everyone a chance to paint the rock, no consecutive days will be allowed.

If you have any questions, please contact us at fvespto@gmail.com Please do not contact the school.

Happy Painting!!!
